The series of work, Contours, examines the integral function of the body as an object for personal and artistic expression. The simplified silhouettes and shapes of this series emanate from those of the human body which in turn we aim to adorn. It highlights adornment as a symbolic act signifying the interconnected relationship between the body and self as well as the representation of the self to the other.
